Fresh food and kind owner!

Best meal of my 8 days so far in Japan. The Kebab sandwich has 3x the portion of the hotdog, which is already a good amount of food. Also the owner is amazing, super friendly, 37 years of experience. Highly, highly recommend!

This joint is managed by an elderly Turkish gentlemen and his wife. They are one of the friendliest natured people I've came across in Japan. And to add to their hospitality, their food was GREAT. Although not a Japanese dilcacy, it was very enjoyable to visit Kamakura to try out this Turkish treat. The owner gives huge portions of meat compared the typical Japanese vendors of meat at cheaper price. Its about ~600 yen and you also have the chance to taste Turkish style ice cream for ~300 yen. Its a place that you should definitely try out when you're around the area.

The food was fantastic - a welcome change for a Japan-weary resident gaijin. The owner was really friendly and a little bit eccentric - lots of fun. Beware the rather short opening hours - you don’t want to miss out and be disappointed.

This was extremely tasty and very reasonably priced. Tiny little place as you leave the big Buddha and head to Hase. The owner is very friendly and speaks half a dozen languages. Get some mango Turkish ice for dessert.

Great Mediterranean in Kamakura!

Stoppes here by chance, no regrets at all. Fantastic and proper kabab, 38th anniversary today! 26th Sep 1982 is when the owner came to Japan! So good, super friendly guy too, as all the reviews say! Small shop but definitely worth hitting up on the way through!! I would highly recommend it 💯 GET THE MIX, HALF CHILLI HALF GARLIC. Barely spicy but super yummy

Small kebab shop near the big Buddha temple. The owners of the shop are very friendly and serve a delicious "tandoori flavored" chicken kebab. Perfect for a snack or a light meal.

The food was very good, but what was more beautiful was the gentle man and his wife running the place with their hospitality, culture and lovely smiles. It was a very good experience for me. I definitly recommend it.

Very small, super friendly, and you get a good portion - unheard of in Japan - for a great price (also unheard of in Japan). Actually the highlight of my day after a hawk stole some food out of my hand - true story!

We stopped here quickly for some kebabs and ice cream on the way to the Great Buddha statue. The food, price and service were all so good that we came again on our way back. The owner is friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to chat with customers. He gave us a few valuable pointers for studying Japanese. If we visit Japan again, we'll be sure to have a stop here in our itinerary.

Fantastic food and a kind owner. Like others said... the garlic and chili mix is incredible. It's a great experience eating there. If I ever go back to Kamakura I will absolutely make sure to stop there and see how he and his family are doing. The owner is sweet and charismatic.

How do I start.. This little shop has the most welcoming owners I have ever met. The husband and wife duo go out of their way to make you feel at home. The shawarmas (kebabs as they're sometimes called) are delicious and so is their icecream. I very very strongly recommend you make time to visit this little treasure when you are in Kamakura. I am lucky I live 30 minutes away and will be coming more often.The stories were delightful, the hospitality was surreal and the food scrumptious. I can't wait to go there again. I think I've found my go to place..

I love this place! I've been coming here every once in a while for almost a year now. I drop by every time I visit the Great Buddha to say hi to the owner. He is a great guy and is super friendly to all his customers. The food is delicious and very inexpensive. It's always great to chat with the other guests as well. I highly recommend eating here if you ever find yourself in Kamakura visiting the Great Buddha! Say hi for me!素晴らしい場所ですよ！いつも大仏に行く時にこの場所で食べます。おすすめ！

Was not expecting a tasty kebab shop in the touristy area of Kamakura but I was happily surprised. Would definitely recommend checking it out if you are looking for a quick, filling bite to eat with the friendliest Turkish couple.

The best kebab in Japan I’ve ever tried. This store is small but cute and on the way from Hase Station (長谷駅) to the Big Buddha Temple. The kebab sandwich in picture is 550yen and has many kinds of sauce you can choose. Also has kebab hotdogs (250yen) and ice cream. The best thing is the really friendly owner. He’s really kind and nice. I can make sure you will feel happy. Couldn’t be better ❤️ オススメ

I’ve tried so many kabab places here in Japan but the sandwiches they serve in this restaurant is undisputedly the best!

A ‘must go’ institution in kamakura. The quality and quantity of food are good, especially considering how low the prices are...well located near the typical tourist spots.

Great kebabs, got mixed flavors, the ice cream is well worth it as well. Mr. Muhammad is a very very nice gentleman, and superb service!

Amazing food and at a great price, you have to stop by this shop if you're visiting Kamakura. I had the garlic and chili sauce kebab and it was incredibly tasty and filling. The owner was so friendly and helpful I really wish I could have spent more time talking with him. He made my trip to Kamakura truly unforgettable and I will definitely be visiting this shop again next time I am in Japan.
